The Takamine GD51CE BSB is a Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar with a Venetian cutaway and is finished in gorgeous Brown Sunburst lacquer.
Deluxe appointments include a solid Spruce top and Rosewood back, sides and Fretboard. The Rosewood alone makes this an incredibly desirable guitar.
The recent CITES restriction on the harvesting and subsequent movement of Rosewood around the world have pushed the price of existing Rosewood stocks up and manufacturers are quickly replacing Rosewood with more readily available tone woods. Rosewood is the new gold!

Ready for the demands of any performance or recording situation, the Takamine GD51CE features an easy playing slim mahogany neck and 12”-radius bound Rosewood fingerboard.
Takamine are also renowned for their Acoustic Pickup systems. Onboard is a Takamine TP-4TD preamp system with three-band EQ and gain controls for rock-solid amplified performance and versatility. The built in tuner is easy to use and read.
