The Ortega RRG30E is a parlor-sized acoustic-electric resonator guitar. As part of Ortega's Americana series, the RG330E blends traditional styling with modern electronics, making ready it ready for the stage, studio or simply kicking back at home.

Featuring a bound all-mahogany body, spun aluminium resonator cone and a passive lipstick pickup, it's parlor sized body makes it perfect for people of smaller stature or as a travel-guitar. The shorter 628mm scale length and 43mm nut width offer comfortable handling for flatpicking and strumming. A padded Ortega gig bag is included.

The spun aluminium cone resonator gives the guitar its characteristic "twangy," overtone-rich volume, making it a perfect fit for blues, bluegrass and folk music styles.

A cool passive lipstick pickup has been fitted,  allowing you to easily plug into an acoustic amplifier or PA system, with individuals control over volume and tone.

As with almost every brand name bass or guitar - and we include the biggest brands in this - they are setup to a tolerance deemed acceptable by the manufacturer. Newbies almost always don't know the difference and experienced players will have their instruments setup post-sale.
