This is the 1512 mechanically tuned Djembe. Featuring a traditional style rim with four tuning lugs, a natural skin head on a select tonewood shell, the Mano Percussion 1512 sounds wonderful. If you would like to tune your Djembe yourself, it doesn't get much easier than this. The tuning system is relatively easy to understand and use. With the spanner (included), simply begin tightening the nuts on the thread found on each tuning hook as you go around the head. Tightening the bolts increases the tension of the head thereby raising the pitch.

The quality high-gloss lacquer finish and beautiful fabric shell ring look classy and attractive. A rubber shell bumper is fitted onto the bottom of the shell for added protection.
