The Maton EMS/12

This Mark Lazotte (a.k.a. Diesel) has a special relationship with Maton. Some years ago he approached them and together they developed a guitar that would grow into a line known as "mini Matons". Every one an exceptional instrument, handcrafted and equipped with proprietry Maton Electronics to provide a big sound from an easy to play and hold acoustic guitar.

The success of these wonderful instruments is outstanding but once you have played one, you will understand why.

The EMS12 Mini Maton is a small bodied guitar with a very big voice. It may look and feel a lot smaller than a standard dreadnought but that's it secret. This little guitar packs a punch well above its weight.

A solid premium Sitka Spruce Top, solid Victorian Blackwood back and sides, AP5 pickup system and more come together in an instrument that has been built for one purpose...to play music. Make it yours!

We have been playing Maton Guitars since 1972 and selling them since 1985. We delivered Maton's first Brazilian Rosewood Custom Shop guitar (which continues to delight and inspire its owner) and many more Matons besides.
