Maton set the bar high when they began development of the new SRS Road Series Acoustic Guitar range. The culmination of years of development and fine tuning by Maton's senior luthiers and production designers, the results speak for themselves with this new range of guitars redefining what is possible in a production built Acoustic guitar.

Maton have improved the neck geometry, bracing patterns and body construction of this new range of acoustic guitars with stunning results and improved production methods have made it possible to produce these all solid timber guitars more effectively than ever before and the playability and tonal benefits are amazing. The backs and tops of the SRS Road Series Guitars resonate more freely and have a huge dynamic range.  The ramped bracing of the S60 delivers a balanced bass and mid-range response while the higher frequencies are bright, focused and simply chime.

Improved neck/body geometry produces a neck that is a joy to play. Difficult chord shapes and complex single note runs are much easier to execute and increased tonal response improves acoustic projection. A genuine bone nut and saddle ensure maximum tone and sustain.

The New Solid Road Series S60 features solid Queensland Maple Back and Sides. The Top is book matched, "A" Grade Sitka Spruce and features Ramped Bracing.

The neck is made from Queensland Maple. Both the Fretboard and Bridge are made from Indian Rosewood.
