Parlour sized guitars date back to the late 19th century. Their very small size often very popular with blues and folk players, they have a distinctive tone and are quite easy to play. If you find the larger dreadnought and concert shaped guitars a bit too big for you, and you fancy something a bit different then maybe this could be a great choice.

The Ibanez PN1 is an affordable model featuring a spruce top, mahogany back and sides and an 18 fret fingerboard. It features a gloss finish, and the quality is of the high level you come to expect from a great company like Ibanez.

Bear in mind that this guitar has steel strings, and despite the small body may be a bit much for young beginners, but for more mature players it could be a great buy.
