Fender have listened to their customers and artists, tastefully modifying the Blues Junior IV’s preamp circuit and replacing the harshness of previous models with a more powerful and assertive-sounding amplifier. Now there's more headroom and a vastly improved midrange presence to cut through on a crowded stage. The bottom end is tight and punchy and the highs sparkle and chime. The Blues Junior IV is now a wonderfully balanced and full sounding amp. Adding your favourite effect pedals will only enhances its tonal nature.

The Blues Junior IV includes a 12" Celestion® A-Type speaker that provides a more controlled response, the overdriven tones growl with authority yet the overall output remains well balanced with sweet soaring highs and a tight and punchy bottom end. Most importantly, the mids cut through without any boxy harshness. For an amp of this size, it’s a powerhouse.

Even more impressive is the fact that its overdriven grind is no longer mushy but growls instead, and a lot of that is its Celestion speaker coaxing the amp for a more controlled response.

The modified preamp circuitry delivers increased fullness, with greater definition and clarity. The onboard spring reverb now offers superb ambience and natural decay delivering rich, shimmering tone, no matter how much reverb you use.

The updated aesthetics include improved control panel texture and graphics, ivory pointer knobs, steel-reinforced strap handle and lightly-aged silver grille cloth, giving it the unmistakable look and vibe you can only get from a Fender amp.
