Also known as 12 tone Equal Temperament or “12TET for Melodies”, Equal temperament allows you to play melodies that sound in tune no matter what key you play in. An Equal Temperament harmonica such as this VOX Type-2 is great for jazz, ballads, fiddle tunes and any musical style that focuses on single notes rather than chords.
