MXR M101 PHASE 90 Phaser Pedal

The M101 Phase 90 takes you from subtle, spatial shimmer to all-out high velocity swooshing with the twist of a knob.

This orange beauty has found its way into many ground breaking recordings – how about Van Halen’s first album for starters.
The shimmery velocity or a more dramatic swoosh is not just for guitars either; it works well with bass, keyboards and even vocals. Vary the speed from a subtle, long cycle to a fast, watery warble…and myriad vintage vibrations in between.

The Phase 90 can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included).

You’d be hard pressed to find a pedal company more responsible for the success and ongoing boom of the pedal industry through the eighties, ninetie, the 2000s and beyond than MXR.

It all started in New York in the early 1970s, when two high school friends, Keith Barr and Terry Sherwood decided to start an audio repair business. They fixed mixers, hi-fi systems and other brands of guitar pedals. Dissatisfied with the quality and sound of the pedals on the market at the time, gave rise to electronics wizard Keith, inventing and developing the MXR Phase 90 in 197st4.

The rest as they say – is history.
