The DD221 features seven velocity-sensitive rubber drum and cymbal pads that offer excellent feel, rebound and response.

Paired with sturdy hi-hat and bass drum pedals with a non-slip backing, this is an affordable, durable, stable and comfortable playing experience that lets you perform at your best.

There are 45 preset kits assembled from 273 expressive drum and percussion samples including expressive acoustic and electronic drum & percussion sounds from around the world, giving you the ability to play along with virtually any style of music. You can also build your own drum sets using the 273 on board sounds and saving them as one of 10 custom kits!

There are 100 preset songs spanning a variety of musical genres to play along with. You can also record and save up to 5 of your own performances.

The DD221 also features a great selection of hand percussion sounds - with the simple touch of a button, the pads adjust so you can easily enjoy playing the percussion sounds using your hands.

You can listen to the DD221 through the built-in stereo speakers. A Stereo Headphone output allows you to practice and play without disturbing others - you can also use the Headphone output to connect the DD221 to external amplification to fill the room with your performance. Use the Aux in to play with an external audio source or use USB MIDI to connect to your computer for unlimited recording and performance options.
