12″-16″ Compound Radius Ebony Fingerboard
Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12″-16″ compound radius design, in which the fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.

It doesn’t get more classic than the JB / ’59 pickup combination. The incredibly popular JB pickup brings big, heavy sound, sustain and rich harmonics, while the ’59 offers sweet sounds and clarity. Put these two together to create the ultimate in versatility, capable of handling a wide spectrum of genres from country to blues to punk to metal. The pickups are mounted to the body for increased resonance and vibration transfer, adding more punch and sustain to your sound.
Pro-SCM Professional Setup
While the quality of this instrument shines through in spades, we like to think of our inhouse Pro-SCM setup as icing on the cake. Our skilled Guitar Technicians will check and adjust anything that requires attention. Our Pro-SCM setup includes:
• Check that the action meets factory specifications
• Check and rectify any buzzing, intonation or playability issues
• Check and adjust the nut and bridge string heights
• Hand roll the fret ends and polish the frets, oil the fretboard
• Test electronics, pots and switches for correct function
• Inspect instrument construction and condition of the strings
• Ensure mechanical devices work properly including tremelo systems and fine tuners
