Ibanez Wizard necks are thin and built for speed, and they enable effortless playability and comfort. The Super Wizard HP is not only fast and comfortable – the five piece Maple/Walnut laminated construction means that it is also incredibly stable and built to blast – night after night. The Super Wizard neck has a bound Rosewood fretboard loaded with 24 jumbo frets for supreme speed. Lightning-fast runs, arpeggios and hammer-ons…no problem.
A pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers power the Prestige RGR652AHBF. The result of the close collaboration between Ibanez and American pickup maker DiMarzio, the Fusion Edge humbucking pickups have been custom designed and wound for down-tuned metal. Their punchy compressed bass response and tight high-end articulation are the perfect recipe for bone crunching d-jent chugs and high speed staccato riffing giving you the aggressive yet precise tone that modern metal guitarists need.
Down tuning is an art and some players make massive adjustments on the fly. The Ibanez Prestige RGR652AHBF with its Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge is ready to take whatever you want to throw at it.
