The Iron Label RG Series RGIR27BFE 7-string electric guitar from Ibanez is constructed from a mahogany body with a walnut flat finish, and a Nitro Wizard-7 3-piece maple/bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The solid double-cutaway body delivers maximum resonance and sustain, while the Nitro Wizard neck is thin, flat and fast, yet strong, and provides unlimited playability for the most demanding player. The active EMG 707 neck and bridge pickups offer high output with a balance of tones that are thick with boosted mids, big lows, fat highs, and fluid sustain. The pickups are regulated by a 3-way selector switch with a single volume control, and a kill switch for a manually controlled strobe effect. Additionally, the guitar is fitted with black hardware, which includesa a set of standard die-cast tuners on the headstock, as well as a Gibraltar Standard II-7 fixed bridge that anchors the strings and helps to increase sustain.

This high-quality instrument is well respected for its tone, features, and ability to hold its tuning, making it an ideal choice for players of all levels.
