Since 1958, the craftsmen at Hagstrom have been combining classic designs with unique interpretations, premium materials, superb hardware, and innovative manufacturing techniques to create a range of superb guitars.

Introduced in 1970, Hagstrom’s iconic Swede model was a serious alternative to the Les Paul, and this modern variant retains much of the quirky charm of the original, while retaining distinctly different qualities.

This Hagstrom Select Series Super Swede features the finest mahogany tone wood, flamed maple top and neck binding and new Hagstrom guitars sold in Australia are backed up by an Industry Leading Ten Year Warranty!

This Super Swede takes the whole Hagstrom Swede guitar concept to another level with its single cut Les Paul look and 25.5" Stratocaster scale length.

The body features a beautifully carved top and single cut-away along with two Hagstrom Custom 58 humbuckers delivering classic PAF-type tones. Adding to its versatility is a coil tap switch giving you access to P90 and Tele type tones at the flick of a switch.

Thanks to Hagstrom's propriety H-Expander Truss Rod, the Super Swede's super slim 25.5“ scale length neck will stay straight and true resistant to twisting torsional forces.

Other premium features include a set neck, Hagstrom stop tail piece, Hagstrom 18:1 tuners as well as  genuine Abalone and Pearl shell inlays.

The 22 fret, 25.5“ scale neck boasts Hagstrom’s exclusive H-Expander truss rod and Resinator fretboard which all add up to the thinnest, fastest and most stable necks in the business.
