The Les Paul Standard HP-II retains the Standard’s popular features, including the comfortable asymmetrical Slim Taper neck profile, while enhancing the experience with upgraded takes on the hallowed PAF humbucking pickups and a AAA+ figured maple top with high-end appointments.
The HP-II model delivers cutting-edge innovations for the forward-looking player including Ultra-Modern weight relief with belly scarf, fast-access heel, soloist neck width and titanium adjustable zero-fret nut and saddles.
The impeccable looks are highlighted by the powerful tonewood combination of a mahogany back with a carved maple AAA figured top. The tight flame is simply superb – the look is timeless and 100% class.
BurstBucker Rhythm PRO and Lead PRO+ humbuckers provide both modern and classic tones.
The tonal versatility that Gibson have bestowed upon this beauty is quite incredible. Equally incredible is the ease with which the tones may be accessed. Each of the 4 controls feature push-pull knobs and there are five internal dip switches that you can set to determine how these controls work.
Setting these dip switches to your preference, you can access coil splits, coil taps and a highpass filter for each pickup. You can also determine if you want the pickups to be in or out of phase and even engage a transient suppression circuit for avoiding unwanted output peaks when recording direct.
Gibson have Plek’d this gorgeous guitar which has leveled the frets. We have also included our PRO-SCM setup to ensure a premium playing experience. The frets have been hand rolled and polished to mirror brilliance – everything else has been adjusted to perfection.
