Epiphone have based this gorgeous Emperor Swingster Royale hollowbody electric guitar on the Emperor II – the guitar made famous by Jazz Guitarist extraordinaire Joe Pass and injected a dose of vintage Rockabilly goodness into that classic design.

The pair of custom designed AlNiCo Swingbucker Humbucking pickups incorporating a nifty parallel/series wiring scheme deliver a range of truly outstanding tones from dark and moody to bright and punchy.
The Tune-O-Matic bridge features a pinned Rosewood base to ensure that it won’t slide around wrecking the intonation and the genuine Bigsby B30 vintage style vibrato with custom “wire” handle adds further versatility.
SWINGBUCKER™ PICKUPS
At the heart of the Swingster are a pair of Swingbucker Pickups that have been specially designed and custom wound with classic AlNiCo V Magnets, Enamel Wire and overwound coils. They provide superb hum-free performance with a perfect combination of warmth, bite and punchy definition.
SERIES-PARALLEL SWITCHING
As well as rolling off the high frequencies, the two Tone Controls feature push/pull switching that changes each pickup’s output from parallel to series wiring to create a versatile palette of sounds. At your fingertips are big humbucking sounds to classic P90 style single coil tones and everything in-between.
BIGSBY B30 VIBRATO
The Swingster includes a Bigsby licensed B30 Vibrato with original style wire handle as preferred by the guitar legend Chet Atkins. The look is timeless and pure class while the performance of the Bigsby B30 is subtle yet inspiring.

Finished in magnificent white pearl with gold sparkle bound body and neck, you’d be forgiven if you thought this baby cost twice the price! The multi-bound headstock is pure Epiphone with it’s clipped corners and classic mother-of-pearl vine inlay.
The 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard features rectangular pearloid inlays and the fretwork is – thanks to its Pro-SCM setup – simply superb.
