Cigar Box Ukuleles and Guitars have been growing in popularity. Its no secret that there is a long tradition of recycling old cigar boxes into musical instruments.

Over the decades, many homegrown builders and hobbyists have taken it upon themselves to build ukuleles, guitars and almost anything else for strings with these opportunistic leftovers. My, how times have changed...these days, the biggest challenge is actually getting hold of the Cigar Box!

While Cigar Box Ukuleles are mostly a do-it-yourself kind of project, not everyone has the skills or facilities to build their own instrument. Now, for those who dig the vibe but are time and resources challenged, Eddy Finn comes to the rescue with a cigarbox ukulele!

Eddy Finn’s Roadhouse EF-CGBX-1 is a Concert Sized Cigar Box Ukulele hand built from Spruce. The satin finished vintage style graphics add a touch of class and complete the "cigar Box" vibe.

The Eddy Finn Roadhouse EF-CGBX-1 Concert size Cigar Box Ukulele also features a Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and Bridge.

As with most ukuleles in this price point and even some costing much more, some work is required to realize its full potential. With our PRO-SCM setup, our inhouse Technicians will hand roll and remove the sharp fret ends and hand polish the frets. That along with adjusting the nut slots and saddle height ensure that the string height is perfect and that your Cigar Box Ukulele feels lovely in your hands and plays beautifully. Strung with Italian made Aquila strings, the sound is simply superb! The fretboard and bridge will also be hand rubbed, oiled and the tuners checked and lubricated.
