The Chiayo STAGE-100 system packages features “THAT” audio compansion which provides outstanding audio frequency response.
Compansion is a method of dynamics processing used to overcome the detrimental effects of an audio channel with limited dynamic range.
A combination of the terms compression and expansion, compansion allows signals with a large dynamic range to be transmitted over facilities that have a smaller dynamic range capability such as professional wireless microphones, telephony and analog recording. The skill of the audio design engineer in controlling the threshold and level of the affected signal is paramount to the audio quality of a wireless microphone system.
The STAGE-100Q also features a handy and easy to see transmitter battery status indicator on the front panel of the receiver. The receiver is a metal chassis TRUE DIVERSITY receiver with 100 channels of UHF frequency selection with spectrum scan feature and IR frequency upload/download.
