They have more than earned their reputation as a leading manufacturer of woodwind instruments.

In 1999, Tenon launched their own brand, Chateau – a significant milestone where they could finally show the world what they are actually capable of. The Chateau Series 22 Valencay Tenor Saxophone is a superb instrument for musicians at all levels. While priced to appeal to the beginner player, it's excellent balance, superb tone and substantial build quality make it a great choice for intermediate and experienced players. The Chateau TE-CTS-22GL delivers on all counts with accurate intonation, smooth action and great response from the low to high registers.

The hand engraved bell adds an additional touch of class to the Mother of Pearl buttons, ribbed construction and Italian made Pisoni pads.

The ribbed construction features posts soldered onto a large Brass plate of brass. This plate is then soldered to the body. This method of construction, normally found on more expensive instruments offers greater strength and durability as well as an enhanced, warmer tone.
