In line with most B.C. Rich bass guitars, the 4-string Virgin’s solid Basswood body features a beveled edge. Similar to the facets on a cut stone, the bevels catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the bass more of a 3-dimensional look on stage.
The BC Rich Virgin is a 4 String Bass with a 34″ scale length and a bone-crushing noise free Bass Humbucker pickup. The 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard has been given the PRO-SCM treatment which means action, intonation, fret ends and finish have all had the once-over to ensure a sublime playng experience. Diamond shaped fretboard position markers add a further touch of class.
The bolt-on neck construction delivers added punch and clarity from the factory B.C. Rich humbucking pickup – the Virgin provides rock solid low-end clarity and power without unwanted muddy undertones. Controls are kept simple with a single Volume pot and a Tone control that allows you to cut the treble frequencies.
The classic B.C. Rich Beast headstock features a set of geared die-cast machine heads for great tuning control and stability.
The Virgin is one of BC Rich’s more comfortable Bass Guitar designs and this one is finished in BC Rich’s gothic satin black colour known as “Shadow”.
