The Alvarez RU22C Concert size ukulele is a great uke - with the addition of our Pro-SCM setup - it is a fabulous uke!

Alvarez Ukuleles have been carefully designed and hand crafted to deliver an open sounding and responsive instrument with excellent projection, volume and a fine tone.

All Alvarez ukeleles are constructed with a dovetail neck joint for optimal strength and transfer of energy between the neck and body. The bracing design is based on traditional fan style bracing that has been modified to optimise string response and projection. The response is also aided by a slotted engineered rosewood bridge, enhancing tone and helping to make string changes quicker and easier.

Other quality appointments and features include seasoned tonewoods, real bone nut and saddles, a mahogany neck, engineered rosewood fingerboard and premium tuners.

While the quality of this instrument shines through in spades, we like to think of our inhouse Pro-SCM setup as the finishing touch. Our skilled Guitar Technicians will check and adjust anything that requires attention. Our Pro-SCM setup includes:

• Check that the action meets factory specifications or better
• Check and rectify any buzzing, intonation or playability issues
• Check and adjust the nut and bridge string heights
• Hand roll the fret ends and polish the frets, oil the fretboard
• Where applicable, test electronics, pots and switches for correct function
• Inspect instrument construction and condition of the strings
• Ensure mechanical devices work properly including tuners
• Tune to pitch
