This is a fabulous example of the iconic Gibson Firebird.

Built in Gibson's Nashville plant in 2012 and finished in Ebony Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this is a superb guitar.

This beauty features the classic Firebird offset reverse body style with 9-ply Mahogany and Walnut neck-through-body construction paired with Mahogany body wings.

The 9-ply Mahogany and Walnut neck has a fast-playing '60s Slim Taper "C" profile and a Rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets.

The two high-output, Firebird mini-humbuckers deliver a bright, punchy and focused tone with great top-end detail. Each pickup has its own volume and tone controls.

Steinberger gearless tuners provide streamlined and precise tuning. alongside a tune-o-matic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece.

This guitar comes complete with its original Gibson hard shell case and documentation as shown in the photos.

This Firebird V has also undergone a comprehensive setup in our workshop.

Our Pro-SCM setup leaves nothing to chance with following work having been completed:

• Fret ends hand rolled for a superb played-in feel then polished to a mirror finish
• Fretboard cleaned, oiled and polished
• Nut debured and slots cut to optimise playing action
• Restrung with .010-.046" strings
• Truss rod, bridge height and intonation adjusted
• Tuners serviced
• Pickup heights adjusted
• Pots checked, cleaned & lubricated
• Lacquer polished

Other than some light marks on the back of the guitar, it looks incredible and plays better than it did when it first left the factory.
