Hidersine Vivente ½ size Cello Outfit

The Vivente by Hidersine is a superior quality ½ Cello outfit designed specifically for the motivated and talented student. Much more than a basic beginner instrument, the Hidersine Vivente Cello features a solid straight grained Spruce table, flamed Maple ribs and back along with an Ebony fingerboard and pegs.

Hidersine now equip the Vivente series Cellos with a German Wittner ‘Ultra’ tailpiece with integral adjusters as well as a Carbon Fibre endpin. The Carbon Fibre endpin allows the instrument to resonate more fully, further enhancing the tone. As well as reducing the Cello’s overall weight, these innovative additions make handling and transportation easier.

Our Vivente Cello is supplied as a complete outfit with everything you need to get started, included. As well as the actual Cello, also included is a padded gigbag with generous storage facilities. The gigbag features external accessory compartments and outer pockets. Your Vivente Cello outfit includes a genuine Brazilwood bow. Simply tighten the hair, apply a little of the included Hidersine rosin and the bow is ready to play!

Get the best start you can:

When starting out on an unknown journey, such as learning a new musical instrument, it’s understandably tempting to go for the very cheapest option possible ‘just to see how it goes’. Deep down however, we all know that it’s not a good idea…”

Having a proper instrument on which to start learning is critical in helping you or your child get the very best results possible. A poorly made instrument or one that hasn’t been set up properly will be hard to play, won’t stay in tune and ultimately, discourage the learner.

This Cello includes a Pro-SCM setup. The Pegs will be fitted correctly to the peg box, the bridge cut and shaped to the optimum playing height, the nut slots cut to the correct levels and more.

Ebony – Feels great, plays great:

This Hidersine Vivente Cello features a genuine Ebony fingerboard. Found on the most expensive instruments, Ebony is a highly prized hardwood and traditionally the first choice for fingerboards due to its superb feel and exceptional long-lasting properties. Unlike cheaper softwoods often used on student instruments, genuine Ebony will not mark, pit or wear out under lengthy playing periods. As well as its smooth feel, Ebony remains structurally sound for a very long time, enhancing the playing experience.

An appearance that’s all class:

The Hidersine Vivente series instruments not only feature a solid Spruce top, they also have solid Maple ribs and backs. Spruce and Maple are the classic Cello construction combination. These solid tonewoods further enhance the instrument’s natural tone. The top produces the instrument’s primary voice while the back and sides add the character. The solid Maple is enhanced further by it’s finish. Hidersine have used a special finishing technique that gives the appearance of visually top-grade maple, so your Vivente instrument has the appearance of a much more expensive instrument.
