The Prodipe A1 Duo is a pair of precision pencil condenser microphones, equally at home in the studio and on stage and perfect for stereo recordings of acoustic instruments, vocal groups and choirs.
Specially designed for multi-purpose use, this pair of ‘matched cigar’ static microphones delivers flawless reproduction of the entire audio spectrum, with exemplary clarity and fidelity.
Stereo X/Y or overhead use
Featuring a 22mm capsule, the A1 microphones straddle the line between small and medium, for a high signal-to-noise ratio while retaining an extremely wide, linear bandwidth. A low-cut filter of 12dB/octave at 100Hz is there to remove any ‘sub-bass’ rumble that may be undesirable in certain situations.
Prodipe duo A1s are superb when used on string, wind and percussion instruments, drum overheads, acoustic guitars and pianos. They are an excellent, cost-effective solution for miking choirs, orchestras and all types of ambient audio settings.
