The JS Series Dinky™ Arch Top JS32 DKA has a Poplar body with an arched top, bolt-on Maple speed neck with Graphite reinforcement and an R12” to R16” compound radius Amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and Pearloid Sharkfin inlays. This is a seriously good guitar at a seriously crazy affordable price!
A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets cranks out clear tone with plenty of girth, and can be shaped with a three-way blade switch and single volume and tone controls. A guitar at this price that sounds this good? seriously, Jackson . . . thank you.
The arched top is usually found on more expensive models and the JS32 DKA also features white neck binding and all-black hardware including a Jackson-branded Floyd Rose® double-locking tremolo bridge, standard strap buttons and die-cast tuners.
Pro-SCM Setup
Jackson have been making great guitars since 1980.
Quality tonewoods are used for the most part for the construction of these fine instruments.
Wood comes from trees and with the changes in weather conditions, humidity etc, these timbers often try to be trees again.
Necks can move, fretboards can shrink ever-so-slightly exposing sharp fret ends, etc, etc.
It is also impossible at the factory level to second guess the exact requirements of how a player likes their instrument to be setup, so they are setup to a “one-size-suits-all” tolerance.
We setup a lot of instruments.
The price of this instrument includes our renowned Pro-SCM setup. Contact us and we will discuss your preferences and work towards providing that. If you are a beginner we will guide you and ensure that this instrument is as easy to play as it possibly can be.
Our Pro-SCM setup includes:
• Adjust the action to ensure that it meets factory (or your), specifications
• Adjust and rectify any buzzing, intonation or playability issues
• Adjust the nut as required
• Adjust the height of the Floyd Rose Tremelo to optimise the playing action
• Adjust the intonation of each individual saddle to ensure that your guitar plays in tune up and down the neck
• Hand roll the fret ends to debur the sharp edges and polish the frets to a slinky mirror shine
• Test the electronics, pots and switches to ensure they function correctly
• Inspect instrument construction and condition of the strings
• Tune to pitch
