The Pioneer’s Mahogany SG shaped body is finished in classic cherry red gloss lacquer and features a bound fretboard, hardtail fixed bridge and dual humbucking pickups – each with their own set of controls for volume and tone, plus a three pickup selector switch.
With its classic looks and fantastic sound, you will be ready to rock in any venue. The humbucking pickups are the perfect match for loopers, effects pedals, and more.
Flight Electric Ukuleles represent great value for money however, as with almost every “brand name” musical instrument, they don’t include a “setup”. Setups involve precision and precision is time. Our price includes a Pro-SCM setup that we promise will take this instrument towards its full potential.
AS a paid service – and we are booked out weeks ahead – this Pro-SCM setup is worth at least $200 and it includes the following;
– Your instrument will undergo an “as many points as required” check over to ensure that there are no manufacturing faults
– The “action” or, playing height will be adjusted
– This can include, levelling, dressing and recrowning the frets
– Handrolling the fret ends to remove those nasty sharp edges and polishing the frets so they are slinky smooth
– Treating the fretboard
– Adjusting the saddles for optimum height and intonation
– Cutting the nut slots to ensure an easy playing action and deburring the nut edges
– Adjusting the truss rod (where available) to provide correct neck relief
– Servicing the tuners
– Testing and adjusting pickups/electronics as required
In our vast experience, nothing comes out of the box having undergone this treatment. Can you buy this cheaper elsewhere? Yes, possibly. Can you buy better elsewhere? Nowhere, on the planet – that we are currently aware of.
