A few short years ago, Fender came up with a very clever and innovative solution to this problem – the GT-1000 Green Tuner. The Fender GT-1000 Green Tuner delivers the performance of a highly accurate, easy to use digital tuner without ever requiring a battery! Simply unfold the crank handle and turn it to generate current that is immediately stored within it’s built-in super-capacitor. The energy you generated then powers the highly efficient digital circuitry allowing you to tune your instrument with ease. To get started, make sure that the TUNER/FLASHLIGHT switch is in the TUNER position, release the crank handle and turn it in a clockwise direction for about 20 seconds at roughly 2 revolutions per second. As you continue to turn the crank handle, you will see the CHARGE LED getting brighter as the super-capacitor is charged. NOTE! To avoid overcharging and possible damage to the supercapacitors, do not turn the crank handle for more than 30 seconds. The Green Tuner features a built-in microphone for tuning acoustic instruments along with a 6.35mm (1/4″) input for electric instruments.

Fender’s Player Series pickups keep a foot in the past while looking to the future. A stroke of pure genius by Leo Fender, the steel plate on which the rear pickup is mounted increases the inductance of the pickup. Originally adapted from a pickup Fender was already making for lap-steel guitars, the Telecaster bridge pickup is taller and longer than its Strat counterpart, providing more area to wind additional wire to the more squat bobbin, resulting in a higher output. Just as important is the metal plate that is attached to the bottom of a Tele bridge pickup. If the magnets are sitting atop a steel plate, the inductance of the coils will also increase, causing the pickup to be more powerful, boosting the bass and low midrange, essentially warming the tone of the pickup. The Tele bridge pickup attached to the body-mounted bridge plate combined with with saddles made out of similar materials all contribute to the signature Telecaster snap and twang. • Block Steel Saddles This beauty features the classic strings-thru-body Telecaster bridge with six block-steel saddles for enhanced sustain plus enabling super accurate string height and intonation adjustment. • “Modern C” Neck Profile Modern players asked for an easy playing, comfortable neck and Fender answered. • Incredible Opportunity! On offer is an ultra-rare Left Hand Fender Telecaster built in Fullerton, California in 1978.
This guitar was bought by its current owner from the original purchaser in the early 1980s and is now, after all these years offered for sale again. The overall condition is very good – best described a “light relic”. The original black gloss polyester finish shows the expected light scratches and “soul marks” of a 45 year old guitar. There are no major dents or buckle rash. The pickups and electrics are also original other than the addition of a longer wire from the volume pot to pickup selector switch to allow the control plate to be turned around.
The guitar has undergone a complete setup including a fret dress and plays beautifully. The only non-original parts are the string trees which the owner felt simply work better. This is a truly unique opportunity for the left handed guitarist. Instruments such as this rarely come along – especially for the lefty. More photos can be provided upon request. Inspection is recommended – the first serious buyer to play this beauty will buy it.

The average person throws away about 30 to 50 batteries annually, that’s a lot of batteries that end in our landfills and oceans.
A few short years ago, Fender came up with a very clever and innovative solution to this problem – the GT-1000 Green Tuner. The Fender GT-1000 Green Tuner delivers the performance of a highly accurate, easy to use digital tuner without ever requiring a battery! Simply unfold the crank handle and turn it to generate current that is immediately stored within it’s built-in super-capacitor. 
The energy you generated then powers the highly efficient digital circuitry allowing you to tune your instrument with ease. To get started, make sure that the TUNER/FLASHLIGHT switch is in the TUNER position, release the crank handle and turn it in a clockwise direction for about 20 seconds at roughly 2 revolutions per second. As you continue to turn the crank handle, you will see the CHARGE LED getting brighter as the super-capacitor is charged. NOTE! To avoid overcharging and possible damage to the supercapacitors, do not turn the crank handle for more than 30 seconds.

Tom Morello is a unique guitarist and the way he draws his powerful sounds – from gentle rhythms to screaming feedback, chaotic stutters and more – requires a very special guitar. In recognition of his awesome talent, Fender have released the Tom Morello “Soul Power” Stratocaster! Based on the modified Designer Series Stratocaster that Tom used during his time in Audioslave, this incredible guitar features a bound Alder slab body finished in sinister yet elegant black polyester gloss lacquer. The “Modern C”-shape Maple neck has a compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets. 
The compound radius begins at the nut with a R9.5″ fretboard radius – perfect for chords and playing around the first position then as you move up the neck, the radius flattens out to a R14″ radius – the ideal shape for shredding and screaming around the upper end of the fretboard. Other features include a recessed Floyd Rose® locking tremolo system, Seymour Duncan Hot Rails bridge humbucker, two Fender® Noiseless™ pickups in the neck and middle positions, chrome pickguard, kill-switch toggle, locking tuners, matching painted headcap and iconic “Soul Power” body decal in the black Fender case. Fender’s Player Series pickups keep a foot in the past while looking to the future. A stroke of pure genius by Leo Fender, the steel plate on which the rear pickup is mounted increases the inductance of the pickup. Originally adapted from a pickup Fender was already making for lap-steel guitars, the Telecaster bridge pickup is taller and longer than its Strat counterpart, providing more area to wind additional wire to the more squat bobbin, resulting in a higher output. Just as important is the metal plate that is attached to the bottom of a Tele bridge pickup. If the magnets are sitting atop a steel plate, the inductance of the coils will also increase, causing the pickup to be more powerful, boosting the bass and low midrange, essentially warming the tone of the pickup. The Tele bridge pickup attached to the body-mounted bridge plate combined with with saddles made out of similar materials all contribute to the signature Telecaster snap and twang.

On offer is an ultra-rare Left Hand Fender Telecaster built in Fullerton, California in 1978.
This guitar was bought by its current owner from the original purchaser in the early 1980s and is now, after all these years offered for sale again. 
The overall condition is very good – best described a “light relic”. The original black gloss polyester finish shows the expected light scratches and “soul marks” of a 45 year old guitar. There are no major dents or buckle rash. 
The pickups and electrics are also original other than the addition of a longer wire from the volume pot to pickup selector switch to allow the control plate to be turned around.
The guitar has undergone a complete setup including a fret dress and plays beautifully. 
The only non-original parts are the string trees which the owner felt simply work better. This is a truly unique opportunity for the left handed guitarist. Instruments such as this rarely come along – especially for the lefty. More photos can be provided upon request. Inspection is recommended – the first serious buyer to play this beauty will buy it.
