YAMAHA HPH-MT7 CAPTURING THE ESSENCE OF THE WORLD’S MOST POPULAR STUDIO MONITORS Drawing from the same philosophy of sonic purity that inspired the development of the industry standard NS-10M studio monitor speakers, MT7 headphones are designed to deliver flat, high-resolution sound with precise stereo imaging and faithful source signal reproduction. They also provide a high level of isolation and comfort, which is ideal for extended listening sessions where fatigue is a primary consideration. Despite having been out of production for many years now, Yamaha NS10Ms are still unquestionably the world’s most widely used nearfield studio monitor and obviously very good reasons. Yamaha have designed and engineered the HPH-MT7 headphones with the same “sound philosophy” as the NS10s. The NS10M ‘sound’ is distinctive for several reasons. One, the NS10M was an unported, sealed-box design. Tons of sub harmonic bass? No – however, the NS10Ms all important time-domain performance is incredible, putting across musical dynamics with greater immediacy and accuracy than typical ported designs. The NS10M frequency response is also excellent, favouring the all-important mid-range frequencies rather than artificially pumping the highs and lows like many other brands. The audio spotlight they shine on a mix is neither flattering nor forgiving and as a result, it’s all the more revealing. The old saying goes that “if your mix sounds good on a pair of NS10Ms it will sound good anywhere”. This is what makes the Yamaha HPH-MT7 headphones so desirable and why the HPH-MT7s have enough in common with the famous NS10M monitor speakers to make them stand out from the competition . . . and why they are a more useful mixing aid than most closed-back headphones. YAMAHA HPH-MT7 DESIGNED FOR THE DISCERNING SOUND ENGINEER The concept is to deliver exceptional precision and fidelity that will provide audio engineers in professional monitoring environments with an ideal platform to build their own signature sound. The MT7 headphones feature custom drivers equipped with CCAW voice coils and powerful neodymium magnets to achieve precise definition and control even at the highest output levels. Made from aluminum wire coated in highly conductive copper, the lightweight yet powerful drivers deliver a broad frequency response of 15 Hz-25 kHz. YAMAHA HPH-MT7 COMFORT, DURABILITY AND OUTSTANDING ISOLATION The sturdy design features a closed-back, circumaural configuration that provides a comfortable fit and the solid ABS housing, die-cast aluminum support arms and sweat-resistant headband ensure that the MT7 models have the durability required for the rigors of road travel. The large ear pads are made from a smooth synthetic leather and low-resistance cushions that absorb excess vibrations and reduce sound leakage, providing outstanding isolation and stress-free wearability over extended periods of time. A three-dimensional arm pivot construction and highly adjustable slider length allows the angle of the ear pads to fit the shape of the wearer’s head perfectly, helping to alleviate fatigue. MT7 headphones also feature steerable earcups for single-ear monitoring and a straight, lightweight three metre cord that comes equipped with a corrosion-resistant gold-plated stereo mini-plug and a gold-plated 6.3mm stereo adapter that allows them to be used with professional audio equipment and portable audio players. YAMAHA HPH-MT7 CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY AND AMAZING VERSATILITY While the Yamaha HPH-MT7’s are incredibly accurate studio monitors they are also versatile enough to shine in other situations. The HPH-MT7s are a great audio solution for DJs or Artists doing live shows with their DAW or analog set-up. These superb stereo headphones are also ideal for casual listening. This is what Ken Hiraoka, Yamaha Pro Audio Manager had to say; “The HPH-MT7 studio monitor headphones exemplify the sound philosophy that we have pursued consistently since Yamaha first produced the industry standard NS-10M monitor speakers. The recent trend of increasing usage of headphones in a growing variety of recording and live sound environments served as the impetus for the creation of the MT7 models. We set out to make headphones with superior fidelity and sound source reproduction that live audio and studio professionals require, along with a very high level of comfort, durability and versatility to accommodate a wider range of monitoring applications.” YAMAHA HPH-MT7 FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS • Over-ear, Closed-back, circumaural design for excellent isolation

Yamaha LL-TA TransAcoustic – Dreadnought Body Vintage Tint Lacquer Finish There’s nothing so inspiring as playing guitar in a great sounding room – it makes you play better, longer and with more creativity. The Yamaha TransAcoustic Guitar recreates that incredible experience without needing any external amplification or effects, just the guitar itself. It’s the most inspiring, engaging acoustic guitar you’ve ever played.
Actuator An actuator installed on the inner surface of the guitar back vibrates in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations of the actuator are then conveyed to the body of the guitar, and to the air in and around the guitar body, generating authentic reverb and chorus sounds from inside the body.
Simple Controls Three simple knobs let you adjust the degree of effect applied and the lineout volume level. Additionally, keeping the controls small minimizes the area of the holes in the body material, reducing acoustic sound loss. (A) Chorus Control
(B) Reverb Control (Room / Hall)
(C) TA Switch / Line Out Volume Control * Pressing the TA Switch for more than 0.3 seconds activates the TA function.
* When a cable is connected to the line-out jack, the lineout volume can be adjusted by rotating the (C) knob.
* The reverb type switches from Room to Hall around the 12:00 position. Designed to provide superb acoustic guitar sound The body is an all-solid guitar based on the L-series. A modified non-scalloped bracing design retains the L series’ characteristic bright tone while enhancing the low end. Treating the tops with Yamaha’ s exclusive A.R.E. process gives the instrument a rich, vintage quality tone, making it sound as though you’ d been playing it for years, from the very first moment you pick it up. The fact that this guitar has been designed with an insistence on sound quality is what allows it to produce effected sounds that feels pure and natural. High Comfortable Playability Straighter neck taper and hand-rolled fingerboard edges result in an instrument that can be played for hours without any stress. The 5-ply neck design featured in all TransAcoustic Guitars is constructed of rosewood and mahogany plies with a double-action adjustable rod, creating a strong, stable neck that resists warping. Newly Designed Battery Box Battery box integrated into the end-pin jack. This requires fewer holes in the body, thus reducing acoustic sound loss. Connect the cable from the jack to a PA or amp to use as an acoustic electric guitar.

The SA2200 is an incredible electric guitar. Versatile is a word that must have been invented for this extraordinary instrument and capable of cutting the mustard with any style of music. Check out this clip of French Jazz virtuoso Bireli Lagrene with his SA2200. The Yamaha SA2200 combines a classic design with outstanding craftsmanship, premium materials and player-focused features to create a guitar that perfectly combines looks, sound and playability. The SA2200 semi-hollow body electric guitar features beautifully flamed laminated Sycamore timber in its construction.
Hand Crafted in Japan by Yamaha’s most experienced Luthiers, the SA2200 represents the pinnacle of semi-hollow body design. A pair of Yamaha AlNICo Humbucking pickups offer up a broad range of tones with coil taps on the tone controls taking you into single coil twang territory. A Maple centre block ensures that feedback is controlled when these pickups are in full flight. The detailing of the SA2200 is simply superb with top-shelf gold-plated hardware, split block inlaid ebony fretboard and multi-bound body and headstock detailing. The headstock angle is slightly flatter than the classic 17 degree angle used by Gibson, with Yamaha choosing to retain the volute to help strengthen the area behind the nut. The use of a shallower headstock angle is being used by more manufacturers – Suhr for example have used something similar on their new singlecut model. The finger board uses medium gauge (2.54mm x 1.2mm) frets, which extend over the single edge binding providing an excellent surface for big string bends and wide vibrato. With the inclusion of our PRO-SCM setup, this Yamaha SA2200 is a guitar that you will find hard to put down. YAMAHA SA2200 Specifications

The amount of memory used to create these incredible samples is more than that of the computer used to take man to the moon and back! EFFORTLESS PERFORMANCE For more than 35 years Clavinova has continued to evolve while seeking to provide the touch and tone of a concert grand piano—the ultimate symbol of piano excellence. This authentic grand piano experience is the product of the knowledge and expertise that Yamaha has accumulated over more than 100 years of crafting acoustic pianos. Utilising state-of-the-art technology to achieve grand piano quality, Clavinova digital pianos offer an inviting playing experience that is perfect for players of all levels. They emulate the touch and tone of a grand piano to make the transition from digital to acoustic piano a seamless and enjoyable one. VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE The CSP-150 features hundreds of high-quality instrument Voices including “Natural!”, “Sweet!” and “Cool!” Voices sampled specially to compliment the instrument types. Yamaha’s Super Articulation Voices (SA) add genuine performance attributes of the real musical instruments as though they were being naturally performed by a virtuoso of that instrument instead of from the keys of a piano keyboard. Examples include “fret noise” or “body knocks” from a guitar or the “inhales”, “exhales” and glissandos from wind instruments. By simply varying your touch and playing techniques or using the pedals, SA voices will add significant authenticity to your sound. STYLES TO DRIVE YOUR IMAGINATION One of the defining features of a CSP Clavinova is the multitude of different Styles that can be controlled in real-time by playing chords on the keyboard. Accompaniment Styles introduce ensembles of virtual musicians to your performances in a variety of musical genres. From small jazz ensembles to full orchestras, you control what chords or harmony they play by what you play, plus you control the dynamics of the ensemble. Developed by professional session musicians from around the world, these Styles add authentic, studio-quality backing players to your performances – even when you play by yourself. HAND CRAFTED NATURAL WOOD X KEYBOARD FOR THE FEEL OF A CONCERT GRAND PIANO Yamaha Natural Wood X (NWX) keyboards are created using the unrivaled expertise acquired through more than a century of crafting fine pianos. Just as with grand pianos, the material used for Natural Wood X keyboards is cut from wood that has been carefully dried specifically for use in making musical instruments. Only the best wood from the finest part of each tree is selected, resulting in a keyboard that is more resistant to buckling and warping than common laminated wood keyboards. The Yamaha Natural Wood X keyboard features the same action and three-sensor configuration as Graded Hammer 3X keyboards, which accurately senses and interprets the behavior of the keyboard for a response that feels very similar to that of a grand piano. This allows you to vividly perform smooth, flowing passages or light trills, techniques used in many pieces such as Für Elise. REGULATE THE TOUCH OF YOUR KEYBOARD INSTANTLY While the weight of the CSP170 keys is fixed, the amount of pressure required to sound a note can be varied. With acoustic pianos this is an expensive and time consuming exercise that requires a Piano Technician. With your Yamaha CSP Clavinova you can adjust this yourself simply and quickly. At your fingertips are the following settings; Hard2, Hard1, Medium, Soft1, Soft2 or Fixed. ESCAPEMENT FOR ULTIMATE REALISM The escapement mechanism in a grand piano moves the hammers away from the strings quickly after they strike them, in order to prevent any interference with string vibration. This mechanism produces a slight clicking sensation when the keys are pressed gently. Since Real Grand Expression offers players superb sound, touch and pedaling, Yamaha’s craftsmen have created an escapement that delivers outstanding playability, repetition and response without impeding performance. The CSP Clavinova keyboards feature an escapement mechanism that reproduces this sensation near the bottom of the key dip and has been designed in such a way that the click is discernible only on the lightest keystrokes, similar to the keyboard of a grand piano. These keyboards have been adjusted to provide additional friction that balances key repetition and response without impeding performance. SYNTHETIC IVORY AND EBONY KEYTOPS Our fingers are more sensitive than we think and for pianists, the texture of the piano keys is extremely important. The NWX keyboard features white keys made from the highest quality proprietary synthetic ivory, developed independently by Yamaha’s R&D division for Yamaha’s Concert Grand Pianos. The black keys are finished in synthetic ebony. Synthetic ivory keytops reproduce the tactile surface of the real ivory keyboards once used in older acoustic pianos. It features highly absorbent material that prevents fingers from slipping even after hours of practice, while retaining the ideal texture and feel. Resulting from well over a century of experience in making acoustic pianos, this exclusive Yamaha technology achieves a finish that feels natural and comfortable.
In addition to the feel, the appearance and fine texture of these keys is unmatched by any other digital piano and is sure to inspire pianists from the moment they experience it. KEYBOARD STABILISERS FOR IMPROVED KEYBOARD STABILITY AND DURABILITY Keyboards fulfill the vital role of transforming emotion from your fingertips into sound and therefore, must be smooth to play in order to maintain superb touch for prolonged performances. The CSP170 features Keyboard Stabilisers for all 88 keys, offering players a natural touch and improving the stability and durability of the keyboard. SOUND THAT TRULY RESONATES WITH THE LISTENER In a Grand Piano, strings and sounds resonate throughout the entire body of the instrument producing a rich reverberation that envelops the listener in sound. Not only are the strings you are playing vibrating, but other strings ring as a reaction to ones you play. This is one reason the piano’s sound is so complex and rich. This phenomenon is reproduced perfectly in the Clavinova through Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) which calculates the various states of the strings for each of the 88 notes on the keyboard from one instant to the next. As a result, the Clavinova reflects the limitless number of factors inherent in playing an acoustic piano such as which keys are pressed, the strength with which the keys are played and pedal timing. ACOUSTIC OPTIMISER The speakers attached to the body exhibit a phenomenon in which, if nothing is done, the volume of the sound will increase due to the resonant frequency of the body. Conversely, installing pipes with the same resonant frequency within the body suppresses this resonance. Acoustic optimisers utilise this phenomenon. This improvement of the sound is something that has only been possible thanks to Yamaha’s thorough knowledge of the internal acoustic characteristics of musical instruments. YOUR OWN VOCAL HARMONIES This is an incredible feature! It wasn’t that long ago that the processors capable of creating auto-harmonies cost thousands of dollars and were only found in the world’s best recording studios. Guess what? You have one right here! Simply plug in a dynamic microphone (we can help you with that), and you can sing along with your playing! The Vocal Harmony engine creates advanced sounding harmonies, enriching your voice and if necessary, is even capable of correcting your pitch! You can also enjoy karaoke backing with songs stored in your Clavinova or downloaded from YamahaMusicsoft.com. The lyrics are shown on the Smart Pianist app and the words change color as the song advances, so you know exactly when to come in. DIGITAL MULTI-TRACK SONG RECORDER The recording function featured in Clavinova digital pianos allows you to record your performances* with a single touch, which is useful when you want to review your playing objectively. Additionally, you can record up to 16 tracks for simultaneous playback, so different hands can be recorded separately or overdub parts with different Voices. *Recordings are made in MIDI format. They may also be recorded to the Smart Pianist App. DIGITAL AUDIO RECORDER The CSP170 also includes a Digital Audio Recorder. This device allows you to record performances to Smart Pianist App and create audio files* that you can save and play back on a Smart device. WIFI CONNECTIVITY Smart Pianist App supports not only wired connection but also wireless connection via UD-WL01 and Wi-Fi USB wireless LAN adaptor.
