YAMAHA DBR12 1000 WATT 12″ POWERED PA SPEAKER From the moment YAMAHA acquired NEXO, France’s Internationally lauded Concert PA System supremos, we just knew that it would only be a matter of time until YAMAHA delivered their trademark bulletproof and best value PA boxes along with the best sounding boxes in their class . . . and that time has come.   o FIR-X tuning delivers superb sound quality with high resolution and a smooth frequency response o D-Contour optimises the DBR12 for main speaker or floor monitor use o Onboard mixer lets you select either a direct output or a mixed output o Comprehensive inputs for mixer, musical instrument or media players o Amplifier and power supply design provides powerful output from a compact speaker o DSP-controlled protection functionality promotes optimum reliability o Five Year Warranty Wherever your music may take you, YAMAHA DBR Series loudspeakers are up to the task of delivering powerful, high-quality sound with an unmatched economy of transport and setup time. The YAMAHA DBR12 loudspeaker is housed in a newly designed, durable, lightweight cabinet optimised for Front of House duties, floor-monitoring and even rigged applications. Whether you’re powering your band’s live performance, DJ-ing a party, or MC-ing an event, be prepared for DBR Series speakers to take your performance to the next level. o YAMAHA DBR12 ULTRA PRECISE DSP PROCESSING FOR HIGH DEFINITION SOUND The DBR models feature Yamaha’s proprietary FIR-X tuning™ utilising linear phase FIR* filters for the crossover. FIR-X tuning™ simultaneously optimises frequency and phase response while adjusting the time alignment between the HF and LF transducers. This creates a very smooth response around the crossover point, providing much better clarity and imaging than what is possible with conventional crossovers. All signals are precisely processed by a high-performance processor for high-definition sound quality. All full-range models employ high-precision 24bit discrete A/D and D/A converters with superior S/N ratio and dynamic range. The YAMAHA DBR12 simply sounds better than anything else in its class! o YAMAHA DBR12 HIGH EFFICIENCY 1000W CLASS-D AMPLIFIER   The DBR12 features a compact but highly efficient Class-D amplifier that delivers class-leading sound output with 1000W of power. The power amplifier uses a switch-mode power supply that guarantees consistent performance worldwide along with an impressive SPL of up to 131dB. o YAMAHA DBR12 INTELLIGENT DYNAMIC CONTROL FOR SUPERB CLARITY AT ANY OUTPUT LEVEL D-CONTOUR is an intelligent multi-band compressor that gives you powerful and consistent sound throughout all output levels. Typically, a normal boosting mode adds a certain amount of EQ boost consistently, regardless of the output level. D-CONTOUR works differently. By constantly monitoring the output of multiple frequency bands, DBR speakers calculate and dynamically apply the optimum EQ adjustments for each, maintaining outstanding clarity and musicality even at low or maximum SPL levels. With the DBR Series, D-CONTOUR provides a more detailed tuning of your sound with two different settings: FOH/MAIN mode or MONITOR mod: – FOH/MAIN mode boosts low-frequency to compensate for low-end that is typically missing when speakers are used in suspended applications or mounted on a speaker stand. – MONITOR mode is completely optimized for floor monitor application by intelligently taming down the low-frequency that builds up due to floor reflection to give you stunning clarity or monitoring your sound. Both of these presets were perfected by performing countless listening tests with skilled sound engineers, giving you a multi-band compressor that performs dynamically, delivering consistent sound with minimal distortion at any output level. o YAMAHA DBR12 EXTENSIVE DSP PROTECTION FUNCTIONS FOR MAXIMIMUM OUTPUT   In a typical system comprised of passive loudspeakers, power amps and signal processors, setting optimal parameters for each component can be a daunting task. One of the advantages of powered loudspeakers is that the combination of transducers and amps can be perfectly matched. During the development of the DBR Series, YAMAHA measured and tested the durability of each transducer and the overall amp output through countless indoor and outdoor listening tests. This allowed YAMAHA to set the optimal limiter point using precise DSP control. Further, a microprocessor and high-power DSP monitor the status of the power supply, power amplifiers, transducers and ongoing signals, to protect all aspects of each component. As a result, these speakers can perform to their full potential while ensuring reliable operation in even the most severe conditions. o YAMAHA DBR12 CUSTOM DESIGNED TRANSDUCERS FOR HIGH DEFINITION SOUND The YAMAHA DBR Series are all equipped with highly efficient Class-D amplifiers that were designed to their custom designed match HF and LF transducers and get the very best performance out of each model. Combined with customized speaker units, these high-performance amplifiers deliver the highest sound output in their class, producing up to 131dB SPL in the DBR12. The high power output woofers deliver well-defined, powerful bass with minimal distortion, while the 1″ precision compression driver produces smooth and accurate mid-range and high frequencies. o YAMAHA DBR12 WIDE DISPERSION CONSTANT DIRECTIVITY HORN   The extremely accurate constant directivity horn was designed with the goal of minimising the radiation pattern deterioration in oblique directions that other, more conventional horns are prone to. This can help to achieve a more ideal coverage area without irregularities. With Yamaha’s wide dispersion constant directivity horn, sound expands in a more rectangular pattern, evenly dispersing wide-frequency sound to the outer-most edges of the coverage area. o YAMAHA DBR12 RUGGED HIGHLY PORTABLE CABINET The YAMAHA DBR Series speakers all feature compact, lightweight, and durable high impact plastic cabinets which offers the highest level of portability of all Yamaha powered speakers. The sleek steel grill bolsters cabinet durability and protects the internal components while a newly designed ergonomic handles (one on top) provide effortless transportation and system setup. The lightweight design – only 10kgs – makes the YAMAHA DBR10 much easier to carry with one hand. o YAMAHA DBR12 SMART ENCLOSURE DESIGN FOR FLOOR MONITORING   DBR Series speakers feature an optimised 50 degree wedge angle perfect for floor monitoring. o YAMAHA DBR12 EASY TO USE 2 CHANNEL MIXER DBR Series speakers have two input channels. CH1 has a combo jack which accepts both XLR and TRS Phone allowing for either Mic or Line level input signals. CH2 offers two input options; a combo jack that accepts XLR or TRS Phone and an RCA pin jack for input from CD players or other stereo line-level sources. The on-board mixer allows you to select either CH1+2 MIX to mix the signal of CH1 and CH2, or CH1 THRU to pass the signal from CH1 only. Yamaha TRB4II Bass Guitar This is a brand new Yamaha TRB4II 4-string bass guitar! The serial number is OFM2005 which indicates that it was built in Japan in the year 2000. This is what is known as new old stock (NOS). This wonderful instrument has been let out of the vault and is presented for sale here, for the very first time. The bass has been checked over, given our Pro-SCM treatment and strung with flat wound strings. To say that it plays and sounds amazing is an understatement. Yamaha created quite a sensation amongst Bass players when they first released their TRB series bass guitars. It didn’t hurt either that their major endorsee for this new line was electric bass maestro, John Pattituci playing a signature 6-string model. Upon its release, the 4-string TRB4II offered some notable refinements over the first series. The upgrades include[d a pair of beefy humbucking pickups, 35″ scale length and active electronics with surgically accurate three-band EQ. This Yamaha TRB4II is a serious low-end machine with a premium Rosewood-on-Maple neck, finely sculpted ash body, smoothly ergonomic cutaway and neck joint, and bottom-anchoring brass bridge. It comes complete with the original Yamaha Case and Yamaha warranty. All photos are of the actual bass – more are available upon request. Inspection by appointment. YAMAHA MG12 12 CHANNEL MIXER For more than a century, YAMAHA has built a legacy of superior craftsmanship and innovation with an unrivaled catalog of world-class musical instruments to touring-grade professional audio. Now in its third incarnation, the MG Series embodies this pursuit of design excellence, and incorporates some of the same technologies developed for use in high-end professional consoles, including studio-quality pre-amps, powerful digital processing, and a rugged, reliable construction. With an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, the MG Series mixers are suited to a diverse range of users and applications. For installed, recording, or live music settings, the solid construction and flexible design of these consoles lets you shape your sound with confidence, continually delivering peak performance and a level of sound quality and reliability unrivaled in its class. YAMAHA has always provided sound engineers with the purest possible signal instead of added processing or colour to give it a “signature” sound, and the MG Series is no exception. Embracing this philosophy of transparent sound, these mixing consoles deliver a level of sonic purity and sound quality that is unmatched in their class. YAMAHA MG12 MIXER SCMUSIC 1 o 12-Channel Mixing Console o Max. 6 Mic / 12 Line Inputs (4 mono + 4 stereo) o 2 GROUP Buses + 1 Stereo Bus o 2 AUX (incl. D-PRE DISCRETE CLASS-A MIC PREAMPS The quality of your preamps determine the direction your mix will take and ultimately how good it is going to sound. Featuring YAMAHA’s studio-grade discrete class-A D-PRE preamps, they utilise an inverted Darlington circuit comprising two cascading transistors in a configuration that delivers more power with lower impedance. Delivering fat, natural sounding bass and smooth, soaring highs, with very low distortion, D-PRE preamps possess an impressively wide frequency range that allow them to handle signal from any audio source without overly amplifying any specific elements of the sound. HIGH QUALITY SOUND OP-AMP The head amp determines sound quality and op-amp integrated circuits are one of the most important parts of the head amp circuit. MG Series mixers feature new, high-quality, custom made MG01 op-amps  developed in cooperation with YAMAHA’s semiconductor manufacturer. Op-amp design usually prioritises electrical design and efficiency. YAMAHA’s design brief was to focus on sound quality first. SWITCHABLE PHANTOM POWER AND PAD SWITCH With phantom power, MG Series consoles allow you to take full advantage of the greater frequency response and high sound quality of condenser microphones. The input channel with PAD switch accepts MIC to line level of inputs, PAD Switch attenuates high input signals that often accompany mic’ed instruments during performance, avoiding the clipping that can seriously affect your mix. YAMAHA MIXER – YOUR SOUND When was the last time you heard guitar without EQ or a completely unprocessed vocal on one of your favourite songs? Probably never. YAMAHA mixers are famous for their flat response and sonic purity, but it often takes more than a perfectly-captured instrumental performance or vocal to achieve a professional sounding mix. Equipped with some of the same state-of-the-art functionality featured on YAMAHA’s high-end consoles, the MG Series gives you the tools you need to produce high quality sound that is uniquely your own. ONE KNOB COMPRESSORS Compression plays an essential role in just about any recording or sound reinforcement environment by altering the level of dynamics of an audio signal when you need livelier guitars, punchier bass lines, a tighter snare, or a cleaner vocal sound. However, it can take countless hours to master the complexities of even the most basic outboard compression units and use them effectively. Originally a YAMAHA innovation, 1-knob compressors are now an industry standard that gives you instant access to optimised compression settings via a single rotary control. SUPERB EQ AND HIGH PASS FILTERS There’s nothing more useful than reliable equalisation when you need real management of your tone. The MG Series benefits from YAMAHA’s unparalleled experience in designing pro audio gear, featuring 3-band equalisers on all mono channels for precise control of your sound. The High-pass filter allows you to eliminate unwanted low frequency noise, for a smoother, cleaner mix. AUX/EFFECTS SEND/GROUP MG Series mixers feature AUX sends for expanding your sound reinforcement or recording setup, allowing you to incorporate additional effects, output to external recording devices, or feed to an Monitoring system. Master send controls are also provided. USEFUL INPUT/OUTPUT CONNECTORS High-quality Neutrik™ balanced XLR connectors are used on mono microphone/line channels and XLR equipped stereo channels. Each of the mono inputs is equipped with combo jack and accepts both MIC and LINE level signals. Two of the stereo inputs are equipped with XLR and two phone connectors with XLR accepting MIC level signals while two phone connectors accepting LINE level signals and can be used either mono or stereo. Easy-to-read LED level metering allows output levels to be monitored with precision. BUILT TO LAST For gigging, recording, and installed applications alike, your console can be subjected to a wide range of environmental conditions and hazards. Excessive humidity, unstable power supplies and the rigors of road travel in general can take a serious toll on a mixing console, often causing expensive, time-consuming repairs and reducing its lifespan. The MG Series has been redesigned with an emphasis on durability, incorporating practical features that offer greater flexibility while ensuring peak performance for many years to come. YAMAHA are so confident of the quality of their MG series mixers that they back them up with a FIVE YEAR warranty! OPTIONAL RACK MOUNT KIT Easily adaptable to a diverse range of installed and portable applications with the optional RK-MG12 Rack Mount kit, featuring a sleek design that makes safe, stable placement of your console hassle-free, keeping setup time and effort to a minimum.

YAMAHA MG06 ANALOGUE MIXER: YAMAHA…world famous stage and studio proven quality at an affordable price. o 2 x D-PRE discrete Class-A mic preamps deliver clean and natural sound o EQ and highpass filters allow for effective sound-shaping o High quality op-amp ensures transparent sound reproduction o 2-band EQ on all mono channels for sound-shaping o Pad switch on mono inputs for managing loud sources o Metal chassis for durability MG06-xlarge D-PRE discrete Class-A mic preamps deliver clean and natural sound Yamaha MG Series mixing consoles are fitted with Yamaha’s transparent D-PRE preamps. These amazing Class-A preamps simply deliver more power with lower impedance, resulting in natural sounding bass and smooth, musical highs. The Preamps also utilise an inverted Darlington Circuit which is rare at this price point. (1) A standard Darlington circuit employs two transistors in series to amplify an incoming signal by dramatically increase the current (something a preamp for a mic-level signal must do). (2) The standard circuit lacks negative feedback to reduce non-linear distortion. (3) The inverted circuit applies local feedback to reduce the distortion while lowering the output impedance, both desirable in a mic preamp. EQ and highpass filter for effective sound-shaping YAMAHA-MG-EQ Modern EQ’ing is more about removing unwanted frequencies – some inferior systems require boosting to improve poor sound – not so with Yamaha D-PREs! The D-PRE’s pure sound should ensure that you won’t need to spend hours EQ-ing just to get a barely-acceptable sound, or put up with unwanted hiss. Whether tweaking your sound to perfection or whether you’re removing unwanted frequencies, effective and powerful EQ is necessary for building a successful mix. Featuring equalisers on all mono channels, the Yamaha MG Series mixing consoles provides you with control over the tonal balance of your mix. Additionally, a highpass filter allows you to get rid of any rumble that might be present in your mix by eliminating unwanted low-frequency noise. High quality op-amp ensures transparent sound reproduction For the new MG Series mixers, Yamaha have developed new, high-quality MG01 op-amps, to ensure that you are getting the best sound possible. The design brief for these new op-amps was to focus on sound quality, rather than prioritising electrical design and efficiency. Yamaha has always strived to deliver the purest possible signal instead of imparting their “signature” to your sound, and the MG Series is no exception. Yamaha have always been renowned for their “natural sounding” audio equipment and you can count on a transparent and articulate sound when you mix through a Yamaha MG Series analogue mixer. Yamaha PAC612VIIXTGM Pacifica Electric Guitar • Seymour Duncan Custom 5 TB-14 and SSL-1 pickups • Graph Tech TUSQ nut and string trees • Grover locking Machine Heads • Wilkinson VS50 vibrato bridge • Alder body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard • HSS pickup configuration with 5-position selector switch • Push-pull coil-split switch offers enhanced tonal options In 1990, Yamaha made a bold move and opened a custom shop and design studio in California on Weddington Street, North Hollywood. Together, Rich Lasner – Senior Guitar Designer, Leo Knapp – Master Luthier and Ken Dapron formed Yamaha Guitar Development and working with Jackie Minakuchi – Yamaha Japan, set the course that would confirm Yamaha’s position as a pre-eminent designer and manufacturer of electric guitars and basses. One of the first projects to emerge was Billy Sheehan’s signature model, the Attitude bass, developed out of an already years-long relationship with the artist. The new U.S. team also designed two new series of electric guitars, with names inspired by their Southern California roots: Weddington and Pacifica. Taking the best attributes of one of the world’s most popular electric guitars and combining it with modern thinking and input from professional guitarists gave rise to the Pacifica, arguably the most innovative interpretation of the double offset cutaway electric guitar of the new millennium. Inspired by those original custom shop guitars and that original vision, the 600 series embodies the spirit of the Pacifica concept. This is a great guitar. Yamaha CG182S Classical Guitar • Solid Englemann Spruce Top • Rosewood Back & Sides • Nato Neck • Ebony Fingerboard • New bracing pattern, thinner bridge plate • Pro-SCM Setup Yamaha have been hand crafting their guitars for more than 60 years. Yamaha have never been one for doing things by halves and when they decided that to enter the guitar market, they called upon legendary Spanish Master luthiers Manuel Hernandez and Eduardo Ferrer to provide technical instruction for crafting impeccable classical guitars. Both had studied under Antonio de Torres, the most celebrated Spanish guitar maker of the 19th century. This collaboration laid the firm foundation for the creation of many of the world’s finest classical guitars at prices that were previously unheard of.  However, the most important contribution that Yamaha made to the world of guitar cannot be overstated – for the first time, even beginners had access to a hand crafted, real musical instrument that was built to a standard – not just a price. The rest is history. Embrace that spirit and discover your own inspiration. Today, Yamaha continues to uphold this spirit and tradition with the current CG range. The CG182S has been revamped and features a new bracing pattern for greater response and resonance. The redesigned bridge plate also efficiently transfers string vibration to the guitar top. Yamaha’s saddle-and-slot design is crafted with great precision for an accurate fit. This reduces string vibration loss and improves attack and sustain. For a “factory-made” guitar, the CG182S is built with a level of expertise and craftsmanship elevating this guitar to the higher end of similarly priced guitars and far above the cheap and ordinary. The CG182S is spoken of highly for its volume and projection. Its hand cut and inlaid mosaic-design rosette, gloss finish, gold hardware and mother-of-pearl peg tuners lend it a quiet and classy exterior. The neck features a smooth satin finish and has been made slightly thinner and lighter to enhance playability. This is a superb guitar built for the budding guitarist who is gaining confidence in their repertoire. Featuring a Solid European Englemann Spruce Top and Rosewood back and sides – this guitar has been created to inspire. Yamaha CG182S Classical Guitar Specifications: • Top Material: Solid Englemann Spruce • Back Material: Rosewood • Sides Material: Rosewood • Body Finish: Gloss Lacquer • Body Binding: Multi-ply Rosewood/Maple • Rosette: Hand In laid Mosaic • Neck Material: Nato • Neck Finish: Satin Lacquer • Fretboard Material: Ebony • Fretboard Radius: Flat • Bridge: Rosewood • Saddle Material: Urea • Scale 25.6″ (650 mm) • Body Depth: 3.7″ – 3.94″ (94 – 100 mm) • Tuners: Yamaha RM1157G-50XA • Hardware Finish: Gold • Nut material: Urea • Nut Width: 2.05″ (52 mm) • Setup: Pro-SCM Setup The Yamaha CG182S represents great value for money however, as with almost every “brand name” musical instrument, it doesn’t include a final “setup”. Setups involve precision and precision is time. Our price includes a Pro-SCM setup that we promise will take this instrument to its full potential. AS a paid service – and we are booked out weeks ahead – this Pro-SCM setup can cost $200 or more and it includes the following; – Your instrument will undergo an “as many points as required” check over to ensure that there are no manufacturing faults – The “action” or, playing height will be adjusted (please let us know your preferred string height) – This can include, levelling, dressing and recrowning the frets as required – Handrolling the fret ends to remove any sharp edges and polishing the frets so that they are slinky smooth – Treating the fretboard – Cutting the nut slots to ensure an easy playing action In our vast experience, nothing comes out of the box having undergone this treatment. Can you buy this cheaper elsewhere? Yes, possibly. Can you buy better elsewhere? Nowhere, on the planet – that we are currently aware of.
