ZHT Series are Zildjian’s Ultimate Sheet Bronze Cymbals. Cast from 88% Copper and 12% Tin alloy, Zildjian’s first-ever B12 alloy resulted in their most musical Sheet Bronze series yet. A higher tin content, ultra-modern crafting techniques and extensive hammering have created a more musical sound than previously found in a Zildjian Sheet Bronze cymbal.
Zildjian may have discontinued the ZHT Series but drummers the world over still use and continue to look for them.
This 10″ ZHT China Splash features a bright, explosive voice with the fast attack expected from this paper-thin B2 alloy cymbal.
It’s quick voice with lots of “give” is ideal for rapid stick work and it makes a great sound effect cymbal.
The square shape of it’s China cup and the exaggerated angle of the bow help provide an authentic “Oriental” cymbal sound.

Sheet Bronze
These preformed metal discs of uniform thickness are crafted with the same care as all Zildjian cymbals. Their voices have a higher pitch, more focused overtones and a faster decay than Cast Bronze cymbals. They also produce a more consistent sound from cymbal to cymbal.
