This special Anniversary model was conceived and designed in collaboration with the Australian Ibanez Importer, Australis Music and built by Ibanez to commemorate and mark the 30 year relationship between Australis and Hoshino Gakki, the parent company of Ibanez & Tama.
Ibanez Distributors since 1978, Australis Music have helped to make Ibanez Guitars and Basses the instrument of choice for thousands of musicians Australia wide.
The magnificent RG30AH Southern Cross Model is a highly collectable guitar that was conceived and built exclusively for the Australian market. The small run of individually numbered guitars were not made available anywhere else in the World.
The fact that it is Japanese Prestige model means that it’s pedigree as a player’s guitar is assured! This magnificent guitar also honours the memory of the late Peter Hayward, the founder and former CEO of Australis Music Group. Peter was a true visionary for the Australian Music Industry.
The guitar is a Prestige model built by the master-craftsmen of Fujigen-Gakki (Team J-Craft). The production run was limited to 60 individually numbered instruments and we believe that this is the last brand new and unplayed example available for sale in the World.
As you would expect for a guitar of this calibre, it comes supplied in a Team J-Craft case with commemorative bronze plaque embossed into the case.
In addition to being individually numbered, each guitar includes a Letter of authenticity signed by Tom Tanaka, the President of Hoshino Gakki Co & and the Late Peter Hayward who had sown the seeds for this project before his untimely passing in 2008.
As is expected from southcoastmusic, this guitar is in pristine, unplayed condition.
If you are a serious buyer or collector please take note that this is a brand new guitar…no pick marks, scratches or belt buckle dents. It has however, been set up to play beautifully.
