This Fontaine FBW465 Gold Lacquered Cornet is the ideal instrument for brass players from the beginner to intermediate level. We have even sold them to players coming back to the instrument after many decades.
Pitched in the same Bb (B Flat) key as a trumpet, the Fontaine Cornet is slightly smaller, making it lighter and easier to handle than a trumpet – the ideal first horn for students.
This Fontaine Cornet also boasts a bore size of 11.50mm and a bell size of 125mm which contribute to its warm, focused and centered tone. As with all Fontaine instruments, the Gold Lacquered Cornet offers the essential features of accurate intonation, great response and easy playability.
