Proudly built in collaboration with the Gibson™ Custom Shop, the Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul™ Standard is Epiphone’s stunning recreation of the rare vintage classic. We believe that this is the best Epiphone Les Paul ever built. Customers often ask “other than the price, what is the difference between a Gibson and Epiphone Les Paul? With the Epiphone Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul™ Standard the answer is “not much!”

This beauty features a full weight mahogany body with a carved maple top capped with a AAA figured maple veneer.

A pair of Gibson’s USA-made Burstbucker pickups absolutely nail that ’59 PAF (“Patent Applied For”) tone. Even the wiring of this Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard has been inspired by the original 1959 Gibson. Premium vintage style wire, Mallory 150 polyester film caps, CTS pots and a Switchcraft toggle and jack should deliver a lifetime of proven performance.

This limited edition 1959 Les Paul Standard also features an aged gloss finish that recalls the feel and appearance of the VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finishes of many American-made Custom Shop Gibsons.

Other period correct appointments include ’50s non-beveled plastics and Nickel plated hardware.

To confirm the pedigree of this guitar, the pickup selector cavity plate boasts an Epiphone Limited Edition metal medallion.
